Terms and Conditions – Shaggy Coos incorporating The Coo Shed

Location: South West Scotland

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Shaggy Coos and govern your stay at our glamping accommodation in South West Scotland. By making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Booking and Payment

Bookings made must be paid in full at the time of booking.

We accept payment via debit/credit card.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before arrival will receive a full refund minus a £25 admin fee.

Cancellations within 6 weeks of arrival will not be refunded unless we are able to rebook the dates.

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

3. Arrival and Departure

Check-in: from 3pm on the day of arrival.

Check-out: by  11am on the day of departure.

Please notify us of your expected arrival time in advance.

4. Occupancy and Conduct

Only guests listed at the time of booking may stay overnight.

Our accommodation is strictly non-smoking.

No parties, loud music, or anti-social behaviour permitted.

Guests must respect the peaceful nature of our site and neighbouring areas.

5. Children and Pets

Children are not allowed on site. If children are booked on you will be turned away and your booking inc payment will be lost.

All dogs except banned breeds are welcome  and there is no limit per booking; dogs must be kept on a lead in certain areas.

6. Damages and Cleaning

Guests are responsible for any breakages or damage caused during their stay.

We reserve the right to charge for repairs, replacement, or additional cleaning if the accommodation is left in an unacceptable condition. There will be a £100 security deposit (refundable) at time of booking.

7. Liability

We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to you or your belongings during your stay.

All amenities and facilities are used at your own risk.

8. Extreme Weather and Force Majeure

In the event of severe weather or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, pandemic, local authority restrictions), we may have to cancel your booking. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or alternative dates.

9. Access and Safety

Guests must follow all safety instructions provided on-site.

Open flames and barbecues must be used only in designated areas.

No firepits or stoves to be left unattended.

10. Privacy

Any personal information provided at the time of booking will be handled in accordance with GDPR and used only for managing your reservation and stay.
